How money is handled
- One set of books, with each division’s income, spending and balance kept separately.
- A gift given for one division or purpose is recorded in the giver’s own words and spent only on it.
- Two signatures for any payment over $1,000; board approval for any spending over $2,500 or any contract longer than a year.
- The corporation’s money is never mixed with anyone’s personal funds or with another organization’s.
Money in and out, by division, published every quarter from the first dollar.
